Ritual and Remembrance
Saturday February 22nd, 2014 1 – 2:30pm
Celebrant Lisa Hartley and artist Shannon Browne present a workshop offering an imaginative, playful and thoughtful approach to creating a Celebration of Life.
This workshop looks at simple things we can do to infuse a deeper sense of the person you have lost, into the Ceremony at the end of their life.
We consider what is typically done at a memorial, what’s been done historically and how to help you tap into more personal rituals that bring meaning to a Celebration of life.
An intentionally created Ceremony reflects the person who has died and helps those remaining, grieve.
